Sitting: Hotel about 5–10 minutes from the Pico area and 15–25 minutes from La Brea. Pretty fancy. I've only sat outside, but apparently there's plenty of seating inside too. Just note that on Wednesday and Thursday nights it can get a little loud in there, so check before settling in. Walk straight in past the lobby and you'll see a bar straight ahead. There are lots of seating areas around the bar, and it tends to get quieter the farther out into the lobby you go. If it's too loud, or you'd rather be outside anyway, walk straight past the bar and there's a door on the right leading out. Once outside, turn left and you'll find some nice, quiet seating areas. Valet parking is around $20.
