Brookside Gardens

Beautiful botanical gardens with nice walking paths, pagodas, and flowers. They also have a greenhouse with more exotic plants. In the winter at nights they have a light show where the whole facility is decorated with lights and each area has different themes, highly recommended, though if you are from Silver Spring you might see people who you know, just a warning, still worth it. The light show in the winter costs $, nothing crazy and you need to buy tickets beforehand, otherwise the park is free and one could enter at any point when the park is open during the day.
